He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Hank is married to the former Traci Davisson and they have two children, Frankie and Olivia.
The Ellis name has a longstanding recognition in the Buckhannon community and WV Wesleyan College, as Hank Ellis Sr. was a highly renowned athlete and coach for many years
